Each year, The Conference Board of Canada and Spencer Stuart honour outstanding
examples of innovation and learnings in board governance from across Canada
at the National Governance Awards. At the heart of these awards is our
aim of paying tribute and sharing insights of leaders. In addition to
one overall award for innovation in governance, sector-specific awards
in each of the public, private and not-for-profit sectors will be presented
at a black-tie awards dinner to be held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Toronto
on February 8, 2006. This event is sponsored by The Directors College,
McMaster University and The Globe and Mail.
The Directors College is pleased to announce that the graduating class
of Chartered Directors will once again be honoured as part of this event.
All C.Dir. graduates will receive one complimentary ticket from The Directors
College. Family and other guests are welcome to purchase their own tickets
and should indicate which graduate they would like to be seated when they
register.
A registration form will be available for download closer to the event
date. To attend the dinner, but not the conference, please indicate “Awards
dinner only” on your registration form.
