- The Directors College* plans to develop a general database of Canadian Directors and obtain information that would allow it to categorize them by:
- total number of years having served as an independent director;
- total number of directorships held in the past 5 years (with number of years served on each; size of company and industry category);
- number of directorships currently held (with number of years served on each; size of company and industry category);
- management experience (years; current rank - with years served);
- number of board committees and chairmanships appointed to in the last five years (list with years served on each)
- The Directors College* intends to conduct regular surveys of corporate Directors to determine their education needs and to identify current "hot topics" for inclusion in The Annual Conference.
